Sharp Easy Honing Device
The Sharp Easy Honing Device is the easiest way to straighten, hone and polish the cutting edge of your knife.
It serves the same function as a traditional sharpening steel, but without the necessary training. With the sharp easy the operator does not control the sharpening angle such as with a sharpening steel, therefore the sharpening process is much more effective and accurate.
In one step, it enables the operator to straighten and hone the cutting edge of the knife as the cutting edge of the knife is fragile and malleable, often creating feathering and burrs. During use, the sharpened cutting edge gets worn away or perhaps even damaged because of contact with bone, chainmail gloves, conveyor belts or tables.
Honing is the action which ensures that the cutting edge is kept viable for as long as possible, and is continuously done during production at the cutting position.
The Sharp Easy comes with a stainless steel mounting bracket and can be ordered with an additional support mounting arm to allow for mounting at the correct height on top of a table.
