By partnering with Renner Schlachthaustechnik, our German engineered dehairing solutions can cover the entire workflow process starting with the pre-cleaning to the scalding and dehairing, up to the subsequent cleaning of the pigs.

From Scalding and Dehairing through to post-cleaning, we provide comprehensive solutions for effective pig dehairing. We offer versatile solutions with horizontal and vertical scalding systems, covering both methods of scalding and ensuring compatibility to your line.

We utilize the newest technologies for the entire dehairing process from pre- and post- cleaning whips and singeing furnaces that secures the best quality finish.

By using a two-roller dehairing system, we are able to offer unmatched performance and increased lifespan of working parts which provides consistent result.

Solutions covering the entire workflow

Pre-Cleaning

Our brush scrubber machinery ensures that any carcass covered in dirt and blood is thoroughly cleaned. This results in the scalding water being considerably less contaminated and thus decreases the bacterial count on the carcass.

Scalding

During the scalding process, the pig is automatically immersed into one of our paddle wheel tanks filled with scalding water at approx. 60°C. They are equipped with intensive water circulation and a precise temperature control system, ensuring perfect result. The paddle wheel scalding tanks are heated with steam, but alternatively heat exchangers and electric heating systems are available as options.

Dehairing

Our intermittent dehairing machines are designed to dehair 40 to 200 pigs per hour and can optionally be equipped with a liquid or natural gas powered singeing device. The last remaining hair are singed off in the machine before ejection of the carcass. An optional conveyor system can be installed below the dehairing rollers to remove the hair.

Singeing

The Singeing Furnace is equipped with either liquid or natural gas torches and effectively removes the last hair, especially in areas that are harder to reach for the rollers. This process ensures a high quality finish of a smooth rind. It also has the added benefit of reducing the surface bacteria count of the carcass.

Post-Cleaning

Three-Roller Whipping Machines that are specifically designed for drying the carcass before singeing so as to increase the effectiveness of the furnace and also for polishing after singeing which removes the last stubborn hair as well as any burn marks or burned hair, ensuing the best quality finish.
