Pig Whip Washing Machine

Whip Washing Machines are used in different configurations for processes such as pre-cleaning prior to scalding, drying prior to singeing and for subsequent cleaning or polishing after singeing.

When using the Whip Washing Machine for pre-cleaning prior to scalding, all blood and dirt is removed from the carcass which significantly reduce carcass cross-contamination as the scalding water is much cleaner.

The Whip Washing Machines are also used to dry the carcass after dehairing and prior to singeing in order to increase the effectiveness of the furnace.

Once the carcass has been singed, the Whip Washing Machine can be used to remove any stubborn hair that was left behind as well as all burned hair or burn marks. This process is referred to as the polishing phase and ensures a high quality finish with a smooth rind.

The Whip Washing Machines can be individually equipped with brushes, rubber or plastic whips.
Upon request, the machines can also be equipped with solid swinging doors to contain the intense water mist produced during operation.
